We had him out for an estimate and immediately felt at ease with his demeanor. He knows what he's doing and can make assessments about what will or won't work for your home quickly and easily. He's also super laid back and easy to get along with, which I really appreciate. He told us why certain places we were considering having the dog door installed wouldn't work (after checking thoroughly for studs and electrical obstacles), and offered suggestions for where the best spot would be. For us, it was through the glass.
When it came time for the installation he was just as easy as ever to work with. I was able to continue working from home in another room while he did his thing. We needed to do what he called a cut-down, and cut into the door to place the dog door lower, as one of our dogs is small and couldn't fit over the frame. Between losing the blinds I really liked and cutting into the door I was super anxious about what the doors would look like. To my surprise the doors looked even better after the Dog Door Guy replaced the glass!
He stayed after the installation and explained the warranty and how to train our dogs to use their new door. He kept our home looking beautiful while giving our dogs a way to get in and out on their own (the last few hours have been bark-free, which is bliss). We are so happy with the Dog Door Guy, and recommend him to all!
